I went to Alta Monday March 5th, got an excellent parking place steps from the the Albion base lodge. But it was snowing like crazy. I started to get ready, then hesitated. I looked at my Wundergroud (Weather Underground) app and Tuesday and Wednesday looked way better today, so I decided to go back to the hotel and take it easy.

Tuesday March 6th I got an even better parking space right next to the Albion base lodge and it wasn’t snowing nearly as hard, but it was snowing. Although the visibility was low, I still had a great time skiing at Alta!

I wanted to use the Sugarloaf Pass gate between Alta and Snowbird, but every time I got up there the visibility was so bad I decided not to enter Snowbird.
